Vortex: Leaving that Time and Place
I felt a spinning red vortex as we started this IFS session. The energy lasted for several minutes before anything else happened. I don't know what it was about, but It was fun to make out of sheer red fabric.
Then we met a woman who was very focused and very stressed, the way my mother and I often do life.
She came into being quickly at the bottom of the wall hanging.
My girl part gained a companion, suggested by the composition and by the fabric.
It felt like these parts were considering the question of whether they were ready to leave this place and come into the here and now - a question Joanne asks when the part seems ready to be unburdened.
As they ponder this question another figure forms at the top of the wall hanging. It seemed she was dreaming herself into place.
She changed to be a woman that does life with ease and far sightedness.
After this I began doing life with more ease and grace.
I find it exciting to see how working with the sessions through art keep them going in a way that I can see and review later.
