Shining

I asked about being able to listen in this IFS session and was surprised to learn I was to listen to myself. I had a part that felt she couldn't be really out there in the world because she needed to protect the tender little flame inside me.

I began this wall hanging by making a figure 8 out of the flower border. Here is my first sketch of the figure that wanted to be out in the world.

Here's my first stab at the little being inside me.

I've usde the back side of the flower material to make the background quieter here for my little inner being.

I made a head for the top figure but it looked much better in the middle of the figure than between her shoulders. Maybe this is to encourage me to listen to my gut.

The inner being has changed quite a lot too. She needed a spiral of gray lace to make her look comfortable inside her circle. She is indeed protected while the outer one goes out shining in the world.
